📋 Description

• Manage the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Windows Server images for EIT services across 187 bases • Support an enterprise IT service delivery model for a DoD customer • Design, configure, manage, automate deployment processes, and troubleshoot performance issues for Windows and Windows Server operating system images • Support physical and virtual servers and workstations, including associated networking, storage, and security • Support software configuration, image management, tool integration, and deployment of physical and virtual server images • Design with an enterprise-wide view considering cost, performance, networking, storage, and security • Develop automation scripts to enhance operating-system delivery, security, and performance • Provide tier 3 support to system administrators • Report to the technical lead and team-level program manager

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship required • Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain • 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience) • Proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining operating system images and deployment methods in a large enterprise • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Windows Server systems administration experience • Application/package management and operating system deployment/configuration management using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Intune, and Autopilot • Customer interaction experience, including presenting, answering questions, and proactively resolving issues • VMware/Hyper-V administration experience • Experience securing systems using STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST 800-27, NIST 800-137, FISMA, and FedRAMP • Log management, network appliance and firewall troubleshooting, and testing experience • Agile/Kanban and Git/GitHub experience • Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022/2025 configuration and STIG/JSIG experience • Desired: ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Repos experience • Desired: PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, Java, YAML, and/or Python scripting experience • Desired: Relevant technical and/or security certifications • Desired: Azure Administrator, Azure Hybrid Administrator, or Endpoint Administrator Associate certification • Desired: Azure cloud computing experience
