📋 Description

• Build 0→1 products, including new services, features, and user experiences from scratch • Evolve rough prototypes into scalable, production-ready systems • Transform ambiguous problem spaces into clear technical and architectural approaches • Partner with product and design on customer discovery, solution sketches, alternatives, and product definition • Build proofs of concept, run technical spikes, validate ideas, and iterate using customer feedback • Influence product direction, technical decisions, and early-stage tradeoffs • Design and build scalable systems after validating product direction • Contribute to architectural discussions, coding standards, and best practices • Mentor other engineers • Own reliability, performance, quality, and customer experience from prototype through production • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and critical issue resolution

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience shipping real products in fast-moving environments • Proven success building new products or highly exploratory features, including 0→1, startup, innovation lab, or greenfield initiatives • Comfort working with high ambiguity and incomplete information • Strong customer empathy and interest in learning directly from users • Fluency in full-stack development, or strong backend experience paired with solid product instincts • Hands-on experience with Python/Django, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and PostgreSQL • Solid understanding of system design, APIs, performance, and scalable architecture • Ability to balance speed and quality • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
