📋 Description

• Review FHA, VA, PMI, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC claims within investor/insurer timeframes for accuracy • Validate that expenses are reconciled and claimed according to agency requirements • Identify QA claim-review errors and ensure corrections are completed before claim submission • Document the Mortgage platform with appropriate process tracking • Escalate trends or issues identified during claim QA • Verify taxes and insurance are maintained, paid timely, and cancelled/endorsed according to guidelines • Ensure procedures for curtailment of interest or advances are followed and enforced • Perform internal quality assurance of departmental claim documents • Complete assigned monthly audits • Certify accurate default claims and transmit filings to FHA, USDA, PMI, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required; some college preferred • One (1) or more years’ mortgage servicing default experience, or QA/QC experience in another line of business, or College Graduate • Moderate knowledge of default claims processes for insurers and investors • Understanding of the default servicing process, including foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation and Claims process • Moderate understanding of Agency and investor guidelines • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and quality on loan evaluation • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management internally and externally • Ability to manage work to meet strict deadlines • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities • Able to work Monday–Thursday 7:00–5:00 and Friday 7:30–11:30, plus overtime as needed
