📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to top enterprise organizations • Work as a pre-sales technical member of a customer Account Team • Showcase Cisco product solutions, set up demonstrations, and explain features and benefits • Design and configure products to meet specific customer needs • Align opportunities with customer challenges and priorities • Demonstrate the business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures • Ensure Cisco architectural vision addresses customers’ desired outcomes and capabilities • Collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to present solutions • Support overall architecture development for global customers • Provide solution and architectural perspectives across the Cisco product portfolio • Apply technical specialization to specific opportunities • Act as a consultative technical advisor to account teams and customers • Keep current with Cisco innovations and competitor solutions, products, and services • Assist with formal sales plans and RFP development and execution for assigned accounts • Translate customer business priorities into technical solutions • Deliver or support technical presentations and solution demonstrations • Define trade-offs, ask probing questions, and incorporate Cisco solutions into broader technology environments • Collaborate with teams to drive successful customer outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles • Knowledge of baseline SE/SA skills • In-depth knowledge in at least one adjacent technology: Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Cybersecurity, or Route/Switch/Wireless • Expertise in Cisco solutions, competitors, and associated IT technologies • Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings • Pre-sales experience and ability to translate technical solutions into business value • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA are highly desirable • Strong business acumen • Conversant in AI infrastructure and IT use cases • Strong knowledge of Cisco switching, wireless, routing, data center, and security technologies • Excellent presentation, communication, and technical consulting skills • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new trends • Candidates must be located in the New York Metro Area • Ability to travel regularly to NYC-based customers
