📋 Description

• Test features in the Splunk Cloud offering • Develop and update documentation for configuration and infrastructure changes • Execute configuration and infrastructure changes on customer cloud environments • Lead customer-related incidents while troubleshooting the Splunk Cloud platform • Develop and update automation tools • Support the next generation of Splunk’s large-scale cloud offering through operational, maintenance, and documentation work • Cross-collaborate with multiple teams on the FedRAMP Cloud Ops team

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Person required: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee • Must be able to perform work on U.S. soil where required by the U.S. government • Must be able to work 4x10 shifts, Wednesday-Saturday, midnight to 10am EST • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and on-call during the shift • 3+ years of Linux experience • 2+ years of scripting experience in Python, Golang, or Bash • 3+ years of experience working on distributed systems • 1+ year of experience participating in incident management • Willing and able to acquire SplunkCloud Architect Certification and either Splunk administration or Splunk Power User certificate within the first 2 years of employment • Experience with Puppet • Experience with Jenkins • Experience with AWS or GCP • Experience scripting with PowerShell • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus • AWS Solutions Architect certificate and/or experience
