📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support secure, scalable, robust full-stack Java applications • Troubleshoot technical issues and propose and implement enhancements • Collaborate on enterprise solution development and drive initiatives forward • Work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment • Develop Java code and designs for new and existing technology systems • Develop and deliver technical documentation • Participate in peer code and design reviews • Build and maintain full-stack Java applications meeting industry regulatory requirements • Collaborate with team members, technical colleagues, business partners, and Architects • Follow SDLC frameworks covering requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, release management, and deployment • Lead teams in meeting project goals, objectives, and delivery dates • Provide engineering leadership and mentorship to globally dispersed junior engineers • Ensure audit and security compliance • Review code for maintainability, coding standards, and security issues • Participate in Agile events and follow Agile standards • Foster innovation and improve existing challenges • Exercise discretion and judgment in decisions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Seven years professional work experience in software development required (Java) • Two years of experience performing as a subject matter expert • Proficiency in using Angular to code the UI • Proficiency as a Java full-stack software engineer • Preferably knowledge in two or more modern programming languages • Advanced technical skills developing APIs, frontend, backend, data development, and architecture • Thorough understanding of databases, including creation of basic to complex SQL statements • Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms • Ability to modify existing code and write complex scripts according to standards and best practices • Leading and authoring technical specifications and detailed designs • Advanced knowledge of coding standards • Ability to travel as needed • Availability to be on-call as needed • This role is currently not eligible for sponsorship
