📋 Description

• Build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services in a microservices and distributed architecture • Define internal and customer-facing APIs serving as building blocks for CDP, with clean design and high-quality developer experience • Lead end-to-end feature delivery from implementation through deployment and monitoring • Address technical debt and drive improvements in reliability and observability • Participate in code reviews and on-call rotation • Lead incident response • Foster a team environment that welcomes constructive feedback and maintains high code quality standards • Build core platform capabilities enabling businesses to launch and scale crypto products • Design and ship backend services and APIs enabling secure access to Coinbase’s crypto infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production backend services in a microservices or distributed systems environment • Experience designing and shipping internal or customer-facing APIs with a focus on high-quality developer experience and clean interface design • Familiarity deploying and testing in microservice ecosystems, including structured observability and monitoring tooling • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly in writing and in live discussions with cross-functional partners • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight • Ability to use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean in daily workflows • Continuous learning as generative AI tools evolve • Application limit of 3 applications within a 6-month period
