📋 Description

• Own and execute full-cycle payroll processing for US multi-state and international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Manage payroll data and workflows across ADP, Oyster, Activpayroll, and other platforms • Collaborate with People Ops, Benefits, and Accounting to capture and reconcile equity, bonuses, and fringe benefits • Own payroll-related tax withholdings, employer burdens, and statutory contributions across global regions • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings by payroll providers • Manage payroll tax account registrations across active jurisdictions and set up new tax IDs for expanding states or countries • Resolve payroll tax notices and inquiries from agencies such as the IRS and HMRC • Manage internal and external payroll audits and maintain compliant documentation • Improve payroll processes by eliminating manual workarounds and increasing efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of high-volume, multi-region payroll experience • Proven track record owning payroll processing across different global jurisdictions • Expert-level proficiency in ADP required • Experience with Hibob HRIS, Oyster Payroll, and Activpayroll highly valued • Ability to identify discrepancies in large datasets • Ability to explain complex payroll and tax concepts clearly • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, People Ops, Benefits, and Accounting • Experience using AI tools and technologies as part of day-to-day work, problem-solving, and continuous learning • Located in ET or CT highly preferred • Willingness to undertake minimal travel
