• Support existing software applications and enhance software components deployed in the Cotiviti product suite • Analyze and assess how automated systems can solve complex business problems • Analyze and resolve software- and process-related issues from internal or external customers • Apply software quality assurance principles and practices throughout the software development life cycle • Document application specifications, design, features, and operation before production rollout • Keep documentation current for all new and existing applications and processes • Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to improve process and system efficiency and results • Execute solutions development and data requirements • Execute solution enhancements to improve performance and availability • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget • Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership • Adhere to technology standards while developing systems • Collaborate with business partners to define complete and accurate system and technical requirements • Receive escalations from team members and provide direction for daily task execution and monitoring • Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to team members • Complete annual Performance Plan responsibilities, special projects, and other assigned duties
• BS degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technically related discipline • Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant industry experience • 4–5 years of hands-on experience working in Linux-based environments • 4–5 years of experience with Java frameworks • Broad and deep technology knowledge and ability to provide solutions to technical business problems • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle • 4–5 years of experience deploying changes using automation tools such as Jenkins and Octopus • 4–5 years of experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible and/or scripting languages such as VBScript and PowerShell • 4–5 years of experience with databases and/or data processing pipelines • Skilled in Agile and SCRUM development methodologies • Prior experience working with CI/CD pipelines • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL • Experience with Docker or OpenShift containers preferred • Experience with JBoss preferred • Healthcare data experience is a plus • Excellent communication skills • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving ability • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts between teams • Ability to meet tight deadlines through planning, prioritization, and organizational skills • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
