📋 Description

• Provide responsive technical support and first-time resolution through incoming calls, community requests, and email • Troubleshoot and resolve simple to highly complex hardware and software technical issues • Collaborate with teams to resolve or escalate product issues • Provide periodic on-site support for service projects, events, installations, and technical service • Create and update internal and external knowledge base articles • Listen to customers and use Salesforce to record detailed troubleshooting notes, action plans, and site-specific information • Perform shift work and participate in an after-hours rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Participate in technical training on new products and systems

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred • Ideal coursework or major in electronics, networking, computers, information systems, network and security administration, electronics technology, electronics engineering technology, or computer engineering technology • Non-technical majors considered with previous experience demonstrating technical learning ability and aptitude • Ability to quickly learn and retain technical concepts and explain them to customers with varying technical abilities • Experience interacting with diverse individuals in a positive, professional manner • Strong computer skills, including internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft operating systems • Ability to work independently from a home office • Ability to travel to South Dakota up to twice per year for training • Ability to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy • Fluent in written and verbal English • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position
