📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact during customer engagements • Work with business development, engineering, and product teams • Deliver live product demonstrations • Maintain infrastructure for proof-of-concept environments • Support complex defense-sector sales cycles • Act as a trusted technical advisor during pre-sales engagements • Participate in sales calls and business development meetings • Travel for on-site customer engagements as required • Discover mission needs and align solutions to customer challenges • Architect and articulate solutions based on customer requirements • Maintain technical demo environments and demonstrate the UDS Core platform • Build and deliver technical proof-of-concepts, live installations, and technical walkthroughs • Provide follow-up demonstrations and ongoing pre-sales technical support

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required • Active TS/SCI security clearance required • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications in production or customer environments • Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core components, including pods, deployments, services, ingress, persistent storage, networking, and RBAC • Experience with Docker or equivalent container technologies, including building container images, managing registries, and troubleshooting application deployments • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or equivalent), including compute, networking, storage, identity and access management, and infrastructure configuration • Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or equivalent • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated application deployment processes • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, DNS, TLS, and container environments • Experience designing technical architectures and translating customer requirements into deployable solutions, including evaluating technical tradeoffs and integration requirements • Ability to independently build, maintain, and troubleshoot technical demonstration and proof-of-concept environments, including performing live installations and deployments • Ability to clearly explain complex systems to technical and non-technical audiences • Comfortable doing live deployments, troubleshooting in real time, and adjusting technical depth for the audience • Proactive and self-directed in building and maintaining infrastructure, finding answers, and advancing opportunities • Preferred: experience supporting DoD, federal government, or national security customers • Preferred: experience in disconnected, air-gapped, or restricted environments • Preferred: familiarity with Helm, Argo CD, Flux, DevSecOps, container security, vulnerability management, secure software delivery, UDS Core, Zarf, and customer-facing pre-sales demonstrations
