📋 Description

• Own software work end to end: clarify loosely defined problems, plan and estimate work, build, test, launch, and support solutions • Configure Adobe Workfront using templates, request queues, custom forms, approvals, proofing, access levels, and reports • Build and maintain Workfront Fusion integrations with AEM, other Adobe products, and third-party tools • Handle integration errors to ensure reliable production operation • Connect Workfront and AEM Assets through linked folders, metadata mapping, and asset workflows • Develop AEM backend code including workflows, Sling Models, servlets, OSGi services, and APIs • Test real use cases and troubleshoot using logs, Fusion execution history, and API responses • Document technical decisions and create user and administrator guides • Support client teams as the Workfront subject-matter expert • Collaborate with a Tech Lead/Principal Software Engineer, CMS Architect, AEM engineers, QA, and client stakeholders • Deliver reliable Fusion scenarios and AEM code that move work from request to approved asset in AEM

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience building backend systems or integrations, including work management or business process projects for large organizations (5,000+ employees) • 2+ years of hands-on Adobe Workfront project experience, including templates, custom forms, Workfront Fusion integrations, and connecting Workfront to a DAM such as AEM Assets • 1+ year of hands-on AEM backend development with Java, Sling, OSGi, Sling Models, servlets, workflows, and Maven • Adobe certified in Workfront and Workfront Fusion • Proven experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, JSON, and authentication when connecting to outside services • Hands-on experience leveraging GenAI productivity tools such as Gemini CLI and Claude • Proven experience turning a business process into a working solution and documenting it clearly • Familiarity with Git, pull requests, automated builds, and testing practices • Ability to take ambiguous problems, research independently, read logs, and debug • Ability to trace problems across Workfront, Fusion, AEM, and connected systems • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; DEPT® participates in E-Verify • Nice-to-have: exposure to Workfront Planning, Frame.io, Creative Cloud for Enterprise, Marketo, or AEP • Nice-to-have: experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Edge Delivery Services, Universal Editor, App Builder, or Cloud Manager • Nice-to-have: AEM website delivery or migration experience • Nice-to-have: Adobe certification in AEM Sites or AEM Assets • Nice-to-have: experience helping teams through change or running user training • Nice-to-have: GenAI tools such as Gemini CLI, Claude Code, or Codex, and understanding of core LLM concepts
