📋 Description

• Process bi-weekly payroll end-to-end using Workday, analyzing and comparing payroll data with HR submission files. • Serve as the point person for employee payroll questions and provide customer support. • Confirm weekly timesheets are exception-free and supervisor-approved before processing. • Analyze new hire and termination information before each payroll run. • Verify HR submission changes are accurately reflected in Workday. • Prepare, update and retain payroll reports for the annual financial audit. • Run weekly new hire payroll orientation. • Support reconciliation and recording of salary and benefit expenses. • Set up and validate state and local tax jurisdictions in Workday. • Maintain payroll system data integrity. • Administer garnishments in ADP SmartCompliance and follow up with issuing authorities. • Collaborate with the People team on payroll reporting and employee needs. • Download, save and analyze payroll invoices and statements. • Process and settle off-cycle and on-demand payments. • Train and develop offshore team members on payroll processing activities. • Assume additional responsibilities as Devoted grows.

🎯 Requirements

• Multi-jurisdiction bi-weekly payroll processing experience in Workday including multi-state tax compliance. • 3+ years of experience covering full-cycle payroll processing, tax filings and adjustments. • Experience working with ADP SmartCompliance for tax filings, amended filings, and wage garnishments. • Working knowledge of US federal, state and local withholding tax requirements. • Strong payroll and payroll tax skills, with strong attention to detail. • Demonstrated track record of accurate work in a high-volume payroll environment. • Experience processing manual payroll adjustments for wages and taxes. • Great customer service skills and ability to work as a team player. • Critical thinking skills, sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities. • Ability to research tax law and apply it to payroll and jurisdiction setup. • Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, and comfort working with large data sets. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Bachelor's degree preferred. • Strong organizational skills. • Committed to employee support and willingness to ask questions.
