📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and deliver reliable, scalable software across the full stack • Drive technical direction and architecture for key product areas and platform systems • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives across Engineering, Product, and Design • Own complex features and projects from scoping and design through implementation, deployment, and monitoring • Establish and improve engineering standards, best practices, code quality, and testing processes • Lead architectural improvements, system migrations, and scaling initiatives • Address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and system reliability risks • Collaborate on roadmap planning, resource capacity, and hiring needs • Translate technical decisions and tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development • Support production systems through troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Six (6) or more years of professional software engineering experience • Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives and delivering complex software solutions • Deep understanding of system design, software architecture, and technical tradeoffs • Proficiency in version control, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD • Experience with modern frontend and backend technologies such as Node.js, React, and TypeScript • Experience with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and production support • Experience driving system migrations, platform scaling, or architectural transformations • Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity • Experience working in agile/scrum environments • Familiarity with VC or PE-backed company environments is a plus • Experience scaling platforms to multi-tenant or device-agnostic architectures is a strong plus • Exposure to IoT, device management, or hardware-adjacent platforms is a plus
