📋 Description

• Be an active member of the DevOps team • Work with a product mindset where Engineering is the customer • Collaborate with teammates to continuously improve team processes • Design and implement DevOps solutions using a modern toolset • Use metrics and data to drive communication and decisions • Be responsible for platform stability and inform application architecture decisions • Partner with AppEng to support production incidents • Deliver platform changes iteratively and without downtime • Work with the Principal DevOps Engineer, VP of Compliance, and Chief Architect on security best practices and solutions • Participate in the on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years experience in any engineering role • At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineer role specifically • Expertise with designing, creating, and managing AWS infrastructure • Expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible • Experience using AI coding tools to improve ops automation without compromising security or reliability • Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and a scripting language • Experience with modern tools such as Docker, GitHub, and CircleCI/RWX • Understanding of how DevOps design influences, enables, and constrains application architecture and SDLC • Experience with observability tools, troubleshooting, monitoring, and alarming • Solid understanding of security principles and security-first design • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be located in the United States by the start date
