• Serve as a human resources subject matter expert within project teams • Understand project timelines and create and execute schedules to meet milestones and critical tasks • Provide solutions for HR needs, compensation and incentive plans, new hire orientation, recruiting, performance appraisal systems, employee relations, handbooks, job descriptions, compliance, training, and policy development • Provide site-specific employee-data tracking solutions • Provide regular updates to project teams, leadership, and stakeholders • Escalate identified issues and risks to appropriate leaders • Support HR functions for new sites until permanent support is identified and trained • Maintain personnel files and HRIS and payroll records • Support payroll processing and benefits enrollment • Support hiring by posting jobs, screening and/or hiring candidates • Assist with associate-relations issues and conduct investigations as needed • Support HR functions and related tasks for closing sites • Communicate company policies and support leadership’s enforcement • Research employment laws and HR policies and communicate information to clients
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field and 3 years’ experience working in Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Experience opening new sites and/or managing multiple projects is a plus • Experience with Microsoft Office • Experience with HRIS systems • Recognized HR Professional Certification is a plus • Local language required • Must be willing to travel locally and throughout the United States as needed • Excellent relationship-building skills • Ability to identify needs and take steps to provide support • Results-oriented • Excellent organizational skills • High interpersonal and communication skills for sensitive and confidential situations and documentation • Working knowledge of applicable local Human Resources laws and regulations • Ability to analyze HR processes and make practical recommendations • Ability to understand the business and quickly learn organizational strategy • Attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines • High sense of urgency and customer-service focus • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated potential for leadership skills and strong business and professional acumen • Ability to deal with ambiguity and cope with change • Flexibility with shifting priorities and business needs, including a flexible schedule to support the business
