📋 Description

• Architect and hands-on build the new ASP.NET Core / C# online banking platform, including system design, service boundaries, data modeling, and API contracts • Design and implement critical features and platform components • Lead code and design reviews and set the technical bar • Lead and mentor a small agile team, run sprints, unblock engineers, own delivery commitments, and coach through 1:1s and pair programming • Partner with technology leaders, product, QA, and security to translate business and regulatory needs into robust solutions • Collaborate on shared architecture, cloud and CI/CD standards, and embed AI capabilities into the platform • Drive engineering best practices, testing, CI/CD, and adoption of modern AI development tools • Operate as a forward-deployed engineer by embedding with internal product partners to co-design, prototype, and launch products • Lead AI-first product development end-to-end, shipping LLM- and agent-powered capabilities with evaluation, guardrails, and cost/latency management • Build full-stack and real-time experiences using modern UX/UI, public REST APIs, SignalR, .NET Core/C#, and event-driven services • Own infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containerized deployments, and cloud delivery across Azure and/or AWS • Engineer identity, security, compliance, data protection, and auditability into the platform • Recruit, coach, and unblock a small squad of forward-deployed engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building modern, data-intensive .NET web applications • Proven tech-lead / lead-developer track record with direct team ownership • Expert-level C# and .NET, including Framework and modern .NET / Core • Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience • Solid REST API experience at scale • Proven financial-services / online-banking experience, preferably serving US banks, credit unions, or regulated financial institutions • Front-end experience with modern JavaScript/UI frameworks such as Angular or React • Experience with Azure or AWS, DevOps, and CI/CD • Understanding of US banking security and compliance, including PCI DSS, SOC 2, and FFIEC guidance • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • Demonstrated 0→1 product delivery at speed • Hands-on AI/LLM application development, including prompt and context engineering, RAG, and agentic patterns on Vertex AI/Gemini, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI • Experience with orchestration such as LangChain and understanding of evaluation, guardrails, and cost management • Real-time and event-driven experience with SignalR, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent messaging • Strong platform/DevOps experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions CI/CD, containerization, and multi-cloud • Identity, security, and compliance experience for regulated financial institutions, including IAM/OAuth2/OIDC, SSO/MFA, secrets management, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and FFIEC • Polyglot programming ability • Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills • Comfortable in a highly remote, fast-paced, agile environment
