📋 Description

• Build and maintain C# / .NET services in the IL6 codebase • Contribute to the rebuilt data access layer and new API design as 30 databases consolidate into one MySQL instance • Design and implement REST APIs with stable contracts, versioning, and consumer segmentation for app, integration, and reporting users • Tune data access for performance using EF Core or Dapper, query design, indexing, and caching • Write automated tests and support CI/CD

🎯 Requirements

• Strong C# / .NET with 8+ years of experience • Deep knowledge of .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, dependency injection, and async/await • Experience with EF Core and/or Dapper, connection management, query performance, and SQL (MySQL or SQL Server) • REST contract design, versioning, pagination, and error handling • Experience with microservices, service-to-service communication, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to work independently, give direct feedback, and translate for stakeholders • Java exposure is valued but not required • Migration or modernization experience is a plus • AI coding tool experience or interest in AI-assisted development is a plus • Kong, Azure or AWS, and GraphQL are nice to have
