đź“‹ Description

• Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, state paid family and medical leave, pregnancy and parental leave, military leave, and jury duty or other statutory leaves • Review medical certifications and supporting documentation • Coordinate the interactive process for workplace accommodations with HR leadership • Prepare leave designation notices, approval and denial letters, accommodation documentation, and return-to-work communications • Track leave balances, return-to-work dates, recertifications, and leave follow-up • Coordinate with Payroll regarding leave pay, benefit deductions, premium payments, and timekeeping • Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave expectations, documentation, and next steps • Administer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, HSA, and retirement plans • Process new-hire enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and annual Open Enrollment • Maintain employee benefit records in Paylocity/B-swift, benefits platforms, and carrier portals • Coordinate with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility, enrollment, and claims issues • Prepare benefit communications, employee meetings, and educational materials • Support ACA reporting, benefits audits, and compliance initiatives • Maintain confidential medical and benefits records and monitor legislative changes • Assist with HR audits and documentation requests • Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and employee resources • Recommend process improvements • Provide general HR support, respond to employee inquiries, update employee records, and support team initiatives • Comply with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 • Maintain confidentiality and sustained attendance • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 2+ years of experience administering employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state-specific leave types • Working knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other employment regulations • 2+ years of experience with direct responsibility for benefits administration • Familiarity with multi-state leave laws and compliance requirements • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and state-specific leave mandates • Ability to interpret and apply employment laws and company policies • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel • Excellent time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, judgment, attention to detail, organizational, written, verbal, and customer-service skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and discreetly • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Reliability and trustworthiness • Dedicated home office setup and reliable high-speed internet access • Availability during core business hours and ability to accommodate multiple time zones • Quiet, professional home office environment • Preferred familiarity with Paylocity and/or Pulpstream • Preferred PHR, aPHR, SHRM, or other HR certifications
