📋 Description

• Add new features, maintain existing functionality, and support key products • Execute full life cycle software development • Integrate components into fully functional systems • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures • Document and maintain software functionality • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics • Apply industry standards and best practices • Plan application design by clarifying goals and designing functionality • Extend and improve software systems through enhancements, performance monitoring, and new technology • Update and extend code coverage, unit testing, and automated software quality assurance • Design and apply standards and best practices to secure systems from malicious and intentional misuse • Design, deploy, and manage cloud deployments using standardized tools, automated processes, and accountability gates • Support production releases, fulfill client queries, and identify application bugs or enhancements • Collaborate with and support teammates

🎯 Requirements

• United States citizenship required • For 3 of the past 5 years, must have resided in the United States, worked for the United States overseas in a federal or military capacity, or been a dependent of a federal or military employee serving overseas • Must undergo additional checks to obtain an LAR certification • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience programming Microsoft C# (preferred) or equivalent • 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server • Competence with object-oriented principles, design patterns, multi-tiered architectures, and software development best practices • Experience with web API, RESTful API design, JSON, XML, data structures, and protocols used in internet services • Experience with Vue.js or equivalent frameworks and TypeScript or JavaScript • Experience with Azure or AWS or equivalent cloud platforms • Working knowledge of security and scalability fundamentals • Ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve code issues efficiently and effectively • Methodical and tenacious approach to troubleshooting complex problems • Respectful communication and collaboration skills
