📋 Description

• Work on customer technical projects involving implementation, configuration troubleshooting, best practices, MVP solutioning, and long-term solutions for customer-specific requirements • Consult on architecture and design • Ensure strategic dbt Platform customers adopt the product • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Training, and Support teams • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve and prioritize customer requests and rapidly resolve engagement-specific issues • Become a dbt product expert within the modern data stack

🎯 Requirements

• Physically located in the United States • Deep experience working with enterprise customers across a variety of use cases, ideally in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architect, or consulting role • Deep expertise in at least one data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift • At least 2 years of experience with dbt, ideally including 1 year with dbt platform • Proficiency in writing SQL • Some Python experience • Willingness to build technical skills supporting deployment and integration of dbt platform solutions • Highly organized and comfortable with technical project delivery, including managing scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple engagements • Clear and concise communication about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems • Ability to thrive in a remote organization valuing transparency and cross-collaboration • Approximately 10% travel expected, including occasional customer visits, company retreat, and offsites • dbt Analytics Engineering Certification, experience with traditional enterprise ETL tooling, and ability to advise on dbt Platform recommendations are advantageous, not required
