• Serve as a customer-facing access and reimbursement subject matter expert across the Pharmaceutical Diagnostic portfolio • Provide education, support center integration, and patient-level issue resolution • Create and deliver onboarding and in-service presentations, both in person and virtually, for new and existing customer accounts • Educate prescribers, office staff, imagers, radiologists, and nuclear medicine professionals on payer coverage policies, reimbursement processes, patient services, and benefit investigation • Resolve general and patient-specific access and reimbursement challenges using internal and external resources • Develop access and reimbursement tools and guides covering product coverage, claims processing, prior authorizations, and appeals • Maintain communication with Market Access Account Executives and Sales to provide field intelligence and prioritize key accounts • Attend conferences to promote GE HealthCare Patient Support Services • Report to the Senior Director of Patient Services • Cover the Mid-Atlantic region with up to 40% travel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the US healthcare medical device or pharmaceutical sector • Minimum of 3 years’ US Field Reimbursement Manager experience • Knowledge of medical benefit reimbursement and payment mechanisms, including medical coding, claims, and billing processes • Comprehensive knowledge of Government (Medicare/Medicaid, etc.) and Commercial coverage/reimbursement dynamics • Familiarity with provider office and hospital outpatient department reimbursement, regulations, customers, and account-based planning • Knowledge of the radiology authorization process, including HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 codes and associated regulations • Experience working with a HUB or reimbursement call center • Ability to establish close collaboration with strategic partners and peers and lead collaborative initiatives • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think on your feet and suggest alternatives and solutions • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships, identify and resolve access challenges, and manage complex projects • Ability to operate independently and successfully as a leader in a matrix environment • Highly organized, strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written presentation skills • Ability to travel to connect with customers and field sales teams • Demonstrated competence with CRM systems, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word • Must live within the Mid-Atlantic Region territory • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Certified Professional Coding Certification (desired) • Experience in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics (desired) • Product launch experience (desired) • No employment visa sponsorship
