📋 Description

• Administer a HIPAA-compliant AWS landing zone as the primary owner of data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads • Administer Tableau Server deployment in the AWS landing zone, including patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring • Provide expert cloud infrastructure knowledge to support secure and efficient cloud adoption • Lead AI/ML and analytics infrastructure initiatives • Support the design and development of new cloud solutions from requirements analysis through implementation • Ensure cloud solutions are ready for ongoing support • Manage cloud migration projects and develop and execute migration strategies • Design infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation • Research and prototype technologies to enhance cloud capabilities • Automate processes and reduce operational toil • Mentor others to optimize cloud outcomes • Improve cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, and efficiency • Collaborate with engineers to meet data protection and disaster recovery requirements • Lead and participate in knowledge-sharing activities and communities of practice • Collaborate with security teams, third-party suppliers, and organizational peers • Design and optimize solutions across single-cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments • Ensure security and compliance standards are met

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, management information systems, statistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience • Master’s degree preferred • Five years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, Information Technology, or similar field • AWS certifications • Expertise engaging with infrastructure and application support teams • Strong background in cloud migration projects and securing cloud platforms with security teams • Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps practices • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban • Experience proposing new standards based on feedback • Proficiency with DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms, and infrastructure-as-code technologies • Understanding of software engineering principles including source control, versioning, and code reviews • Experience in HIPAA-compliant environments • Expertise implementing highly available systems across multiple availability zones and regions • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems • Knowledge of database technologies • Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD • Experience with AWS CloudWatch • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts • Strong cloud security knowledge, including key management and encryption • Knowledge of cloud spending analysis for resource optimization • Must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado
