📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and ship AI-powered full-stack features for large datasets • Build high-performance user experiences that help users discover, organize, and optimize access to data • Rapidly prototype, test, validate, ship, and evolve LLM- or agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle • Collaborate on AI-driven product features and integrate agentic components with Slack and alerting systems • Engage with internal data teams for dogfooding • Use AI and automation tools to enhance product functionality and development workflows • Take ownership of scalable, maintainable AI solutions aligned with real user workflows • Shape analytics-focused AI agents for information retrieval • Work autonomously in a startup-like team environment and expand or redefine the role based on impact and initiative

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background and experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems • Experience building user-facing experiences that balance utility and user delight • Experience with LLMs, context engineering, and GenAI-powered applications • Proven track record of delivering production software actively used by users • Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior • Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks • Ability to prototype, release, collect feedback, and iterate quickly • Ability to tackle complex engineering problems and make UI design decisions with minimal supervision • Ability to work with ambiguity, define scope, take ownership, and drive projects forward • Effective communication and collaborative attitude • Nice to have but not required: experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows • Nice to have but not required: experience as a data analyst or with data platforms such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, or DataBricks • Nice to have but not required: experience building tools for data engineering
