📋 Description

• Build complex backend and integration work, including modules, extensions, services, GraphQL/REST endpoints, and data synchronization • Lead debugging and performance work on high-traffic production systems • Review code and refactor with intent • Own end-to-end technical design, including data models, API contracts, extension strategy, integration topology, and failure/reconciliation behavior • Contribute to coding standards and architectural guardrails and enforce them in owned work • Mentor developers through pairing and design sessions • Participate in scoping and roadmap conversations and provide feasibility and sizing input for proposals • Represent the technical position directly to clients • Own projects end to end across multiple client accounts and concurrent implementation projects • Shape the application of internal AI tooling and practices to client work

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience owning the end-to-end technical design of complex commerce builds while remaining hands-on in code • Production experience on more than one platform or stack, including at least one learned on the job • Deep expertise in at least one of Adobe Commerce (Magento 2), BigCommerce (including B2B Edition and Catalyst), or OroCommerce • Experience with custom extension work, catalog and pricing, checkout, indexing, and performance tuning • Experience building a non-trivial integration to an ERP, OMS/WMS, or financial system • Experience handling integration idempotency, reconciliation, partial failure, and replay • Experience diagnosing and fixing real performance problems on high-traffic commerce applications, including measuring impact and explaining changes • Ability to participate effectively in client conversations, turn vague requirements into defensible approaches, and provide estimates • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
