📋 Description

• Collaborate on the design, automation, and management of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS • Lead the International DevOps team by setting priorities, coaching engineers, and aligning delivery practices with product and engineering goals • Automate and manage cloud environments • Design, deploy, and maintain metrics, logging, and monitoring systems • Manage CI/CD pipelines and optimize release engineering workflows • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues across environments • Participate in the on-call rotation for infrastructure alerts and escalations • Design and enforce Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies using cloud-native services • Implement system hardening and security configurations across services and operating systems • Maintain and evolve infrastructure-as-code practices and automate operational processes • Continuously assess and improve system performance, scalability, and security • Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge sharing, and team development

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building, deploying, and operating highly scalable infrastructure in a security-conscious cloud environment • Experience supporting Tier 1 financial institutions with high transaction volumes is a strong plus • Remote position requiring work on East Coast hours • 3–5+ years in a senior or lead capacity, including mentoring, owning delivery, and setting standards • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines such as Bitbucket Pipeline, Jenkins, or Spinnaker in distributed environments • Expertise in Kubernetes; CKA certification preferred • Strong scripting or programming skills with Terraform, Python, Bash, or YAML • Hands-on experience with AWS services • Proficiency with Bitbucket or GitHub, Jira, and Confluence • Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog • Solid understanding of DevSecOps, including shift-left security and integrating security scanners into CI/CD pipelines • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Team-oriented and collaborative • Able to work with different cultures and communicate with international teams
