📋 Description

• Ensure the resilience, performance, and security of the enterprise Cloud Platform • Execute reliability engineering projects • Remove toil through automation • Participate in incident triage and perform root cause analysis • Contribute to no-repeat systemic-problem resolutions through blameless postmortems and problem management • Engineer reliability into platforms through automation, change/incident/problem management, and destructive testing • Support Service Level Objectives for highly available paved-path solutions • Collaborate and pair with UX, engineering, and product management team members • Create secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions • Document, review, and ensure quality and change-control standards • Help create developer-ready, understandable, and testable user stories • Write code and scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases • Write code and scripts for destructive resiliency testing • Configure and modify programs and commercial off-the-shelf solutions • Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and proactive responses • Collaborate in agile processes and build partnerships across diverse groups

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a related engineering field (Systems, Software, Operational) or a reliability engineering domain • Working knowledge of ITIL processes and production-system support and maintenance, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management • Experience leveraging AI tooling to compress MTTD, MTTM, and MTTR • Experience with BASH, Python, Golang, TypeScript, Java, YAML, JSON, and HCL • Experience with Terraform and Ansible • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform or equivalent projects and services, including infrastructure, Compute, Developer Tools, Security, and Identity and Access Management • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry • Understanding of Kubernetes/GKE and modern microservice architectures • Familiarity with Unix and Linux operating systems • Exposure to security tooling and frameworks, including Wiz • Experience executing destructive, performance, and failure-scenario tests • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques • Experience with version control systems • Understanding of SLOs and core SRE principles and practices • Communication and collaboration skills, including operational status communications, real-time stakeholder reporting, and documentation • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field related to the job
