📋 Description

• Design and implement backend services enforcing licensing, entitlements, feature access, usage limits, and packaging rules • Build and evolve provisioning and onboarding workflows for account setup, entitlement propagation, and auto-provisioning • Develop infrastructure for user access controls, account settings, parent-child account relationships, RBAC, and authorization • Build MSP/MSSP capabilities including asset allocation, sub-client management, usage visibility, and reporting workflows • Implement audit logging and event history systems for administrative, entitlement, usage, and account-level actions • Develop the notifications platform for usage warnings, consumption alerts, overage notices, product announcements, and other communications • Operate services in production, contributing to monitoring, runbooks, incident response, and support workflows • Contribute production code meeting standards for design quality, test coverage, observability, and operational rigor • Collaborate with Pentest Data Platform and Platform Integration Team to apply entitlement, access, and account-hierarchy rules consistently • Lead through technical judgment, system design, and reliable execution as a senior individual contributor • Own significant pieces of platform infrastructure while balancing feature delivery, long-term platform investment, and production health

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages such as Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, Scala, or C++ • Experience building production applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience using Docker and Kubernetes • Ability to own and manage concurrent initiatives • Strong prioritization and time management • Self-directed and able to implement solutions independently and as part of a team • Strong desire to continuously learn new technologies in a fast-paced Agile environment • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and quality • Strong technical documentation ability, including design docs, runbooks, and support documentation • Effective communication and collaboration across engineering, product, and design • Interest in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and tenant isolation • Experience with RBAC, authorization, authentication, or SSO systems • Experience with licensing, subscription, entitlement, usage metering, or billing-adjacent systems • Experience designing audit log or event history systems • Familiarity with provisioning, feature flags, and staged rollout patterns • Experience building admin consoles or customer self-service workflows • Experience with MSP, MSSP, or multi-tenant partner models • Experience with notifications infrastructure • Production reliability experience, including observability tooling, on-call ownership, runbook authorship, and incident response • Expert proficiency in SQL • Experience with relational database architectures, particularly PostgreSQL • Comfort with complex data models involving account hierarchies, usage records, and entitlement state
