📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate event-driven services processing pentest data in real time • Work with event streaming, stream processing, storage, schema evolution, and replayable processing • Take ambiguous, high-impact problems from design through implementation, rollout, and long-term operation • Convert large per-pentest datasets into a cohesive story over time • Solve host identity challenges, including determining when hosts are the same despite different IP addresses • Translate batch-era logic for finding enrichment, attack path analysis, host and identity correlation, and reporting into streaming-friendly designs • Solve distributed systems and data-storage architecture challenges at scale • Establish operational excellence through SLOs, instrumentation, alerting, on-call, and incident response • Conduct design reviews and technical writing • Define clear API contracts and maintain durable decision records • Interface with platform teams and attack-engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software engineering or a similar role • Proficiency in Python and/or Go, including experience with large-scale codebases • Production experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query performance at scale • Experience building and operating services in AWS or a comparable cloud • Experience with containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes • Hands-on production experience with observability tooling such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Production experience with event-driven architectures or streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Flink • Experience designing distributed systems at scale • Experience migrating systems from batch to streaming or decomposing monoliths into services while live for customers • Graph database experience with Neo4j, graph data modeling, and SQL • Background in cybersecurity, pentesting, or vulnerability management • Experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption patterns, including envelope encryption and KMS • Minimum 25Mbps consumer grade broadband connection
