📋 Description

• Embed with Aerospace & Defense customers on their sites and inside their systems • Learn how customer operations work and design and ship software collaboratively • Design, build and test full-stack features across services, APIs, data, persistence, integrations and web interfaces • Connect IFS to ERP, CRM, IoT, telemetry, legacy and mission systems • Own solution architecture in real customer contexts • Manage automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, observability and operational reliability across cloud and customer environments • Use AI-assisted and agentic development tooling and take AI-powered capabilities into customer environments • Feed field learnings back into the core product and roadmap • Collaborate with product management and wider engineering teams • Serve as a trusted technical voice for customers, partners and operations leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing, building and shipping production software across the stack, including backend services and APIs, data and integrations, and web front ends • Proficiency in modern general-purpose programming languages • Substantial experience working directly with customers, on site or embedded in their teams • Experience deploying, integrating, hardening and supporting enterprise software in customer environments • Experience integrating systems such as ERP, CRM, IoT and legacy platforms • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud and DevOps, and security • Track record of owning significant delivery components with little supervision • Ability to make architecture and shipping-quality decisions under time pressure • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required • Experience building AI solutions is strongly preferred, including model integration, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic architectures, evaluation and testing, and/or AI-assisted and agentic development tooling • Experience working in or with Aerospace & Defense organisations, or on asset, maintenance, MRO or fleet-readiness solutions • Experience with enterprise asset management, field service or maintenance-management solutions • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (nice to have) • Experience with agile delivery • Experience working with globally distributed teams
