📋 Description

• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Solution Designers, and Quality Assurance personnel to gather non-functional requirements. • Act as an extended scrum team member on multiple teams. • Conduct system performance testing to ensure application reliability, capacity, and scalability. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Users, and Scrum teams to identify performance requirements and develop performance testing strategies. • Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance/stability, and scalability performance test scripts. • Monitor client-side and server-side application performance using in-house and commercial tools. • Analyze performance test results, participate in root cause assessments, and recommend improvements. • Provide detailed test reports. • Collaborate with the Application Health and Performance team to monitor system performance post-deployment and refine pre-production tests. • Suggest tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency. • Conduct training and provide assistance to Associate and Mid-Level Performance Test Engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. • Five to seven years of professional experience with performance testing, including scripting and custom scripting, and/or software development is required. • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum model environment. • Strong understanding of performance testing requirements and converting them to executable performance testing scripts. • Strong understanding of automation/performance script creation using NeoLoad or other applicable performance test tools. • In-depth understanding of parameterization, checkpoints, reusable functions, correlations, iterations, pacing, and think time. • Highly proficient in Performance Workload Modeling and Capacity Planning. • Ability to analyze client-side statistics such as response times, throughput, and hits per second. • Strong knowledge of web servers, application servers, and database servers. • Experience monitoring server performance counters using AppDynamics and other application monitoring tools. • Strong analytical and documentation skills. • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. • Knowledge of advanced SQL. • Working experience with C#, Java, and .NET frameworks. • Knowledge of heap and thread dump analysis, CPU, and memory profiling data. • Basic development knowledge for custom coding implementation in NeoLoad. • Working knowledge of MS-Excel, including macros and graphs/charts. • Experience using Visual Studio/TFS for project management and defect tracking. • Knowledge of Fiddler, JProfiler, Jconsole, or VisualVM.
