📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day operations and delivery outcomes for a multidisciplinary software development team • Execute technical projects and allocate Engineering resources effectively • Define, implement, and improve Software Development Lifecycle best practices • Track and report engineering performance indicators including quality, velocity, productivity, and delivery reliability • Align priorities and resources with Business Unit stakeholders • Provide functional oversight, performance feedback, and formal performance reviews • Develop training plans and support staff growth • Participate in recruitment and manage onboarding of software developers and interns • Monitor team health, skills, and knowledge depth • Design and develop software applications from business and technical specifications • Develop and execute unit, component, and integration tests • Ensure coding standards and test coverage targets • Investigate technical issues and delivery risks • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on solution design and technical direction • Contribute to technical and end user product documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience • Proven technical team leadership abilities including on and offshore multidisciplinary teams • Experience with a variety of software development languages • Experience with service-oriented architecture and design principles • Experience with relational and non-relational database design • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization • Exceptionally self-motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
