• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with HCEM growth objectives and business plans • Plan, coordinate, and support annual and long-term growth initiatives • Maintain comprehensive visibility into the HCEM business development pipeline, including leads, opportunities, proposals, orders, renewals, and strategic pursuits • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit, client need, timing, probability, and growth potential • Drive follow-up on leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline • Manage pursuits from lead to close, including proposal development and scope/fee build-up • Connect HCEM Business Development, Operations, and clients to align growth priorities • Maintain accurate business development information in company systems • Promote consistent business development processes, tools, and accountability • Monitor pipeline performance, trends, gaps, risks, and areas requiring focus • Align priority accounts and opportunities with appropriate internal stakeholders • Support proactive business development and client relationship development • Own HCEM business development initiatives from strategy through execution • Monitor healthcare and emergency management industry trends, client challenges, competition, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities • Communicate Jensen Hughes’ service value and connect client needs with technical expertise and solutions • Develop relationships at multiple levels within key accounts
• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required) • Four (4) plus years’ experience in business development, account management and people management • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred • Experience with government contract tracking systems or platforms preferred • Experience working for a professional services firm preferred • General knowledge and confidence using computer databases and menu-driven reports • Self-starter who works well independently and is self-motivated, with a bias for action • Project coordination and organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative to follow through • Ability to perform at a high level in fast-paced and high-pressure environments • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment • Exceptional customer service and strong listening skills • Ability to develop unique and innovative plans or solutions • Willingness to travel to the Connecticut or New York office approximately quarterly preferred • Candidates based in New England, particularly Connecticut, preferred; candidates outside the region welcome to apply
