📋 Description

• Track state-by-state law changes and draft and implement policy updates across employee classifications and pay ranges • Lead the annual compliance audit and handbook refresh from start to finish within the first 90 days • Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions • Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration team members’ work • Rearchitect HR operations processes with an AI-native mindset • Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline • At least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience • Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience • Experience personally drafting policies, entering payroll, and handling compliance filings • Comfort working hands-on across payroll, benefits, and compliance • Excitement to build with AI • Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada, for full-time salaried employment • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
