📋 Description

• Lead development of high-quality, robust, observable, and measurable applications using extreme programming practices and a user-centric approach • Navigate the entire application lifecycle with designers, product managers, and engineers • Lead lean experimentation and use data and industry best practices to influence decisions and achieve business outcomes • Establish and lead product engineering and software standards, continuously elevating existing standards • Mentor junior team members through pairing sessions, one-on-ones, and ad-hoc guidance • Model partnership, collaboration, technical initiatives, and regular feedback across the organization • Champion and customize extreme programming practices and engage in process and community discussions • Design and build modular, headless AI backend services, advanced RAG architectures, and multi-agent orchestration workflows using tools such as LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI • Construct enterprise-grade MCP gateways, API integration and mediation layers, rate limiters, and security proxies for autonomous agents • Develop lightweight streaming simulation frontends to validate agent behaviors, prompt strategies, and human-in-the-loop workflows • Collaborate with Applied/Data Science and Machine Learning specialists to fine-tune SLMs, perform AWQ/GPTQ quantization, and optimize GPU memory for high-throughput inference • Instrument distributed tracing, token utilization logging, and inference latency telemetry across the AI stack • Package reusable code libraries, containerized microservices, and integration SDKs • Architect resilient Compound AI Systems routing between deterministic APIs, specialized SLMs, and frontier LLMs • Perform additional assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of demonstrated experience building and scaling production applications using foundation models, RAG, or agentic workflows • 6+ years of experience integrating AI applications securely with enterprise data, APIs, and identity/access controls • 4+ years of experience evaluating and optimizing AI application quality, latency, reliability, and cost • 6+ years of experience in software development • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities • Advanced knowledge of application design patterns, event-driven architecture, database schemas, and testing strategies • Experience with large-scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning • Demonstrated experience working with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) • Knowledge and experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development • Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the “What You’ll Do” section • Ability to comply with dress code requirements • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines • Ability to give direction to and receive, understand, and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others • Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast-paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating and preparing reports • Ability to plan, prioritize, and monitor activities across business units • Ability to complete or oversee assigned projects in a timely manner
