📋 Description

• Process salaries accurately and timely according to the payroll calendar • Manage taxes, employee benefits, deductions, bank transactions, payments, payslips, and payroll documentation • Ensure taxation, labor law, audit, reporting, record-keeping, and data-security compliance • Implement and integrate payroll software with HR and finance systems • Support and drive global payroll systems implementation and transformation projects • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for seamless project execution • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize payroll operations • Analyze data to mitigate risks, identify trends, and inform project planning • Support HR Services with Level 2 payroll query and issue resolution • Ensure team awareness of operating rhythms and procedures • Use metrics, SLAs, analytics, and dashboards to improve efficiency • Manage incidents • Interpret and apply pay policies for vacation, leave, disability, workers’ compensation, union contracts, withholding exemptions, and government regulations • Coordinate third-party payroll system implementations and upgrades • Maintain compliance with changing federal and state payroll requirements • Support employee offboarding in coordination with former employees, labor unions, and internal teams

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on working knowledge and demonstrated outcomes in end-to-end payroll operations • Ability to drive payroll standardization to global SOPs while ensuring local compliance • Knowledge of industry best practices • Ability to adopt agile project management principles for payroll transformation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to educate teams on new payroll processes and technologies • Knowledge of global, regional, and local payroll laws • Experience implementing internal controls, audits, and forensic payroll audits • Knowledge of GDPR, SOC 1, ISO 27001, and other security standards • Experience with cloud-based payroll solutions such as SAP, Workday, ADP, and EY • Ability to track payroll cost, accuracy, efficiency, cycle times, employee experience, and compliance KPIs • Predictive analytics for forecasting labor and payroll costs • Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies • Vendor SLA management and global workforce compliance • Fiscal competence to manage payroll budgets • Growth mindset, customer focus, inclusive collaboration, and commitment to personal and professional development
