📋 Description

• Lead and own Salesforce programmatic requests and platform enhancements • Develop SOQL code, Apex classes and triggers, and custom user interfaces with Lightning Web Components and JavaScript • Use Salesforce REST, SOAP, GraphQL APIs and platform events • Design and implement scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Next • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated Salesforce deployments • Establish Git branching strategies and release-management processes • Create and manage Salesforce scratch orgs for development, testing, and training • Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Manage deployment automation across development, staging, and production Salesforce orgs • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, AWS, and Oracle • Maintain architectural documentation and review technical solutions • Implement PMD rulesets, code-quality standards, automated code analysis, and quality gates • Monitor and optimize platform performance and scalability • Own release cycles, environment promotion strategies, and deployment scheduling • Coordinate with Production Support to deliver fixes and enhancements • Support Salesforce Administrator with platform configuration and maintenance • Translate business process requirements into technical specifications • Align development activities with scope, schedule, priorities, and business objectives • Collaborate with internal and external technical experts and partner with internal teams • Participate in software design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, code reviews, dependency analysis, and downstream impact analysis • Build and maintain distributed microservices and debug and monitor production environments • Work in an Agile environment and provide on-call support after hours and weekends when needed

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent or proven years of experience • 8+ years of software development experience • 5+ years of Salesforce platform engineering experience including DevOps practices • Extensive experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Service Cloud • Fundamental knowledge of Marketing Cloud Next and Data Cloud • Advanced Salesforce DX experience, including scratch-org management, source format, and CLI automation • Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce • Extensive Git branching-strategy experience • Proven experience building and maintaining Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps • Proven experience with Unlocked Packages and package-based development • Expert scratch-org creation and management, including automated provisioning and data seeding • Experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and ANT Migration Tool • Infrastructure as Code experience for Salesforce environment management • Strong command of REST APIs, retail integration concepts, enterprise architecture, and integration design patterns • Web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS • Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, SQL, NoSQL databases, and networking • Advanced PMD ruleset configuration and code-quality enforcement • Experience with automated testing frameworks, test-data management, code reviews, dependency analysis, and downstream impact analysis • Experience building and maintaining distributed microservices and monitoring production environments • Excellent communication skills; organized and able to work independently and in a team environment • Availability for after-hours and weekend on-call work when needed • Ability to work in an Agile environment with autonomy and efficiency • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications preferred • Experience with Docker, container orchestration, iPaaS middleware, third-party APIs, advanced Git workflows, monitoring and alerting, business-facing groups, and Agile/DevOps cultures preferred
