📋 Description

• Build, ship, and operate features and services in Flag Delivery's streaming and polling infrastructure • Own well-scoped projects end to end, including design, implementation, rollout, and operational support • Investigate and fix production issues and participate in the team's supported on-call rotation • Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code and design reviews • Improve observability and reliability of owned code • Collaborate with SDK Engineering, Data Platform, and product-engineering teams on cross-functional work • Develop depth in distributed systems and production operations with senior-engineer mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software-engineering experience building production services • Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go, Rust, Python, or Java • Familiarity with a cloud platform, such as AWS or equivalent • Solid fundamentals in data structures, concurrency, API design, and testing • Experience debugging real production problems • Willingness to carry an on-call rotation • Working familiarity with observability tooling and comfort reading dashboards, logs, and traces • Ability to break down ambiguous tasks, ask good questions, and drive them to completion • Clear written and verbal communication and interest in learning from feedback
