📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications • Design and integrate agentic software architectures with APIs, state management, and memory systems • Define governance standards for agent observability, error handling, and human-in-the-loop interventions • Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs, architectural blueprints, and implementation strategies • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and platforms, emphasizing GCP services and cloud-native architectures • Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce architectural principles such as 12-factor methodology • Design for stringent performance, scalability, and reliability requirements • Define integration strategies for APIs, microservices, third-party platforms, and legacy applications • Collaborate with clients, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams • Contribute to technical roadmaps and drive innovation in AI/ML, serverless, and Service Mesh/Istio • Identify technical risks involving infrastructure security and cluster management and propose mitigations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive software development experience • 3–5 years in an Application Architect or similar senior leadership role • Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP • Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, and N-tier applications • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot plus at least one other modern language such as Python, .NET, Node.js, Go, or C# • Proficiency in data modeling and relational or NoSQL database technologies • Extensive experience with RESTful API design, API Gateways, and secure development practices • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Helm, and automation tools • Understanding of frontend frameworks, including React; ideally another framework such as Angular, Vue, or Svelte • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Readiness to work in shifts and independently or collaboratively with a global team • Must be unable to require visa sponsorship or transfer, as 66degrees cannot sponsor or transfer visas
