📋 Description

• Design, build, and support scalable microservices powering critical enterprise systems • Collaborate with product, architecture, and cloud engineering teams • Architect and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot • Engineer solutions using Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery • Create efficient SQL queries and data pipelines for high-availability systems • Implement CI/CD automation with Jenkins and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform • Develop unit tests with JUnit and improve code quality • Lead peer code reviews and support adoption of engineering standards • Provide production support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis • Support agile execution and accurate work tracking • Mentor others and shape engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field • Without a relevant four-year degree, four additional years of relevant work experience required • 13+ years of experience delivering microservices architecture • Expert-level Java and Spring Boot proficiency • Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery • Strong SQL and database performance-tuning skills • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Terraform IaC • Ability to produce comprehensive JUnit coverage and ensure code quality • Experience conducting peer code reviews and providing actionable feedback • Experience with agile project tools such as VersionOne or similar • Production support experience, including incident management and troubleshooting • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • U.S. residency for the required security investigation period • Scheduled availability of 40 hours per week • Less than 10% travel required
