📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and debug advanced pipeline software supporting automated builds, deployments, quality gates, and test workflows • Provide technical expertise for sub-projects involving software composition, configuration, deployment, and validation • Develop pipeline automation with custom quality gates and API integrations with DevOps, CI/CD, security, and test automation tools • Define, implement, and improve DevOps processes and toolchain integrations for reliable CI/CD • Design, configure, and maintain Helm charts and templates within Kubernetes • Integrate, deploy, and troubleshoot microservices architectures across Kubernetes platforms including K8s, K3s, and RKE2 • Improve automated versioning, release management, configuration management, and environment provisioning • Implement automated virtual machine provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle workflows using cloud APIs and infrastructure automation • Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes, container, virtual machine, deployment, integration, and pipeline issues • Guide team members on DevOps practices, deployment architecture, automation, troubleshooting, and implementation • Communicate with team members, project leads, technical stakeholders, and external partners • Recommend technical approaches, identify risks, propose process improvements, and ensure delivery solutions meet program objectives and quality expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field or equivalent years of experience; additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree • 8+ years Software Engineering experience in any object-oriented programming language • U.S. Citizenship required, no dual citizenship • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance • Must have the ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) certification within 30 days of employment • Strong software engineering background with demonstrated experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting web-based systems, APIs, and distributed or microservice-based architectures • 3+ years working in a DevSecOps environment and familiarity with DevSecOps best practices • Experience with branching and pull request workflows using software version control and repository tools • Ability to work in both Linux and Windows operating systems • Bash/Shell scripting experience • Experience with Kubernetes cluster types and Kubernetes applications such as Kubectl, Helm, and Rancher • Experience with Docker containers, including building, deploying, and debugging • Preferred: active Security+ certification and active Top Secret clearance • Preferred: experience with cyber security gating, Git, Bitbucket, virtual machine technology, Agile/SAFe, frontend technologies, Terraform or other IaC tools, Atlassian Tool Suite, Jenkins, AKS, and Helm/Go Template Languages
