📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations across multiple states • Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement benefits programs • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries • Coordinate with finance and external partners to reconcile benefits statements and payments • Partner with the VP of Human Resources on strategic HR initiatives • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend enhancements • Assist with workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development strategies • Maintain compliant HR policies and procedures • Manage the HRIS and ensure accurate employee records and reporting • Oversee onboarding for new hires • Handle employee relations, performance management, and exit interviews • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR operations team • Report HIPAA violations and complete required HIPAA training • Supervise and coach department positions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations focused on payroll and benefits administration • Experience preferably in a remote and multi-state environment • Proven ability to work strategically and tactically within HR • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple states • Emotional intelligence • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Benefits proficiency across Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, EAP, and ancillary items • Ethical practice • Flexibility and multitasking • Strong initiative; self-directed; able to produce and meet deadlines with minimal supervision • Strong time management and organizational ability • Relationship management ability • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite • Ability to work core hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT and adjust work times for meetings across time zones • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
