📋 Description

• Serve as principal cloud solution strategist during federal capture and proposal efforts • Translate mission requirements and evaluation criteria into winning cloud architectures and technical narratives • Partner with business development, capture managers, proposal managers, and executives on discriminators, win themes, solution storylines, and customer messaging • Lead technical proposal artifacts including architecture diagrams, technical volumes, briefings, compliance matrices, and oral presentation content • Lead solution aspects of task areas, workstreams, or functional program areas for pursuits • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver compliant, comprehensive, persuasive, and innovative solutions • Advise teams on cloud strategy, modernization, mission resilience, security posture, and cost optimization • Communicate cloud capabilities to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences • Collaborate with engineering, product, and governance teams to validate feasibility, costs, deployment models, and compliance alignment • Guide teams on AWS best practices, AI/ML opportunities, and differentiating technologies • Facilitate technical solution reviews • Evaluate emerging technologies such as generative AI, container security, edge computing, and automated governance • Translate emerging technologies into proposal-ready value propositions and differentiators

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field • 15+ years of related experience • At least 8+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions • Strong emphasis on solution design, technical strategy, and pre-sales or proposal support • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification; Professional strongly preferred • Expertise in cloud-native architectures and AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge, Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q • Experience contributing to federal, state, or local government proposals • Experience authoring technical volumes, shaping solution narratives, producing architecture diagrams, and supporting orals • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and Terraform/CloudFormation • Working knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud SRG • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to complete identity verification using biometrics and artificial intelligence; camera use required during virtual interviews
