📋 Description

• Serve as Matrix's Principal Developer and senior technical leader • Establish and maintain enterprise technical vision, application governance, development standards, reference architectures, and platform lifecycle management • Lead the secure software development lifecycle for multiple concurrent efforts from discovery and requirements through retirement • Architect secure, scalable enterprise solutions including portals, automated workflows, custom applications, forms, dashboards, and resource-management tools • Direct cloud-native application development, integration, data architecture, and DevSecOps across Microsoft Azure and related platforms • Govern low-code, collaboration, analytics, and decision-support solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Power BI, Palantir, Jira, and Confluence • Establish data architecture and integration patterns for SQL Server, REST APIs, and connected systems • Embed cybersecurity through SSDLC, application security reviews, Zero Trust, identity and access management, and compliance practices • Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development tools and secure AI-enabled business solutions • Evaluate modernization opportunities and develop technical approaches, roadmaps, statements of work, estimates, schedules, and technical documentation • Support process improvement and business process reengineering through process mapping, data collection, analysis, visualization, and digital-solution development • Support proposal development with technical content • Support project execution through budgeting, scheduling, team organization, prioritization, quality assurance, invoicing, reports, technical documents, and presentations • Meet with clients to present results, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain relationships • Facilitate virtual and in-person stakeholder engagements • Build, mentor, and support development teams and communities of practice • Provide architecture and code reviews, troubleshooting, training, and product guidance • Provide technical direction and day-to-day leadership to developers and multidisciplinary delivery teams; supervise as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field of study • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible software or application-development experience • Technical leadership of development teams and delivery from requirements and architecture through deployment and sustainment • Experience working with or for the Department of War or another federal agency • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance • Valid driver's license and successful completion of the Company's MVR screening • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipeline development, C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Python • Expertise in modern application-development frameworks, integration patterns, APIs, front-end and back-end development technologies, and cloud-native architectures • Strong experience with SQL Server, enterprise data architecture, REST APIs, systems integration, data governance, and decision-support data structures • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Online, Power BI, Palantir Foundry/AIP, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence or comparable platforms • Experience designing enterprise architecture solutions supporting more than 100 users and multiple business functions • Experience applying SSDLC, application security review, Zero Trust, identity and access management, and CUI-protection practices • Experience with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements • Experience evaluating AI-assisted development tools and developing secure AI-enabled business solutions • Proficiency with Agile delivery methods, including Scrum and Kanban • Strong facilitation, organizational management, technical writing, and presentation skills • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and other Matrix offices
