📋 Description

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of senior engineers • Provide thoughtful feedback and build a trusting and supportive environment • Own the team’s technical strategy and roadmap • Translate Mercury’s investment ambitions into focused priorities and predictable delivery • Guide the design and evolution of cash and securities ledgers, security master service, position tracking, and reconciliation systems • Partner with product, investment operations, and compliance to translate business and regulatory requirements into systems, operational controls, and auditable workflows • Collaborate with Product and Partnerships on integrations, responsibilities, and technical roadmaps • Set standards for correctness, reliability, and incident response • Balance new capabilities with maintenance and improvement of critical systems

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing highly technical teams • Direct experience building or operating RIA and broker-dealer custody systems at scale • Experience with ledgers, security master service, cash and securities reconciliation, and money movement • Understanding of the broker-dealer operating model and data flow across introducing brokers, clearing firms, and custodians • Experience working closely with compliance and operations teams • Understanding of securities lifecycle, settlement, and corporate actions • Understanding of customer cash and positions across equities, fixed income, ETFs, and mutual funds
