• Develop, implement, and maintain marketing and sales strategies based on company and individual goals and objectives • Ensure satisfaction of current referral sources and identify their future fleet-management needs • Develop marketing programs and strategies targeting potential referral sources and clients • Identify and develop market areas and achieve marketing and sales goals with the Business Development team • Identify and develop new prospects and close new business • Sell business-to-business fleet management solutions, including fleet leasing, services programs, technology options, and fleet consultation • Support commercial customers purchasing commercial fleet software and services • Research and identify potential fleet clients, including service companies, logistics companies, government agencies, municipalities, and corporate fleets • Generate leads through cold calling, industry events, professional networks, and digital marketing • Build and nurture client relationships to drive satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals • Prepare and deliver sales presentations • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences • Collaborate with product development, marketing, operations, Client Partnership Managers, and the Transition Team • Sell vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel license programs, outsourcing, and other support services • Discuss fleet cycle and replacement strategies with prospective clients • Schedule meetings with C-suite executives and deliver professional presentations • Secure long-term client commitments supporting sustainable growth • Support client onboarding, including initial product setup and training • Provide marketplace overviews and competitive intelligence
• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience • Reside in Northern California • Fleet Leasing Industry experience is preferred • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including trends, vehicle types, features, and regulatory requirements • Familiarity with fleet management practices and solutions • Proven track record in sales and business development • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills • Solid working knowledge of and proficiency in executing consultative selling process • Ability to manage new fleet customer onboarding, including initial product setup and training on Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology & Services • Strong business acumen and understanding of the financial implications of equipment leasing • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Active listening skills • Ability to develop compelling oral and written proposals that quantify the overall impact of Mike Albert solutions • Results-driven and highly creative in delivering and positioning solutions • Ability to analyze client issues and challenges and develop effective sales and closing strategies • Ability to establish priorities and meet objectives • Effective organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail in managing contracts, pricing, and client information • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management technology, with preference for Salesforce • Ability to support 50% travel
