• Lead Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage bid pricing and forecasting • Present results to clients and participate in strategic discussions • Provide strategic guidance to local and regional health plans on impacts of the Inflation Reduction Act and other regulatory and market forces • Analyze healthcare data • Write reports explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences • Manage projects through completion within an expected budget • Supervise actuarial students on technical aspects of actuarial projects • Develop the ability to manage client relationships • Potentially generate new business with new and existing clients
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field • ASA designation • 10+ years of healthcare actuarial experience • Three or more years of Medicare Part D experience, including bid development • Experience with Medicare Advantage • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system • Advanced proficiency with Excel • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on client satisfaction • Entrepreneurial, proactive, solutions-oriented approach • Legally authorized to work in the United States without immigration support or sponsorship • Preferred: Bid Certification; experience with R and/or Python; experience with PowerBI • Commercial programs experience preferred, but not required
