Miris is a developer-focused SaaS platform that streams high-fidelity 3D content to any device without downloads or heavy infrastructure. The platform ingests OpenUSD assets (up to 10GB), uses AI-driven optimization to generate multi-resolution LODs, compress geometry and textures, and produce stream-ready assets that adapt quality per device and network. Miris delivers assets via a global CDN with predictive caching and provides a lightweight Web SDK (React/Vue/vanilla JS) integrating with three. js, enabling progressive, low-latency 3D streaming for web, mobile, and XR clients.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of senior rendering engineers across realtime rendering, GPU and shader work, streaming graphics, and radiance field research integration • Drive daily delivery efforts by balancing priorities, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining engineering velocity and output quality • Own and evolve the renderer's technical strategy across graphics APIs, platforms, fidelity, and performance trade-offs • Shape engineering practices and culture, including design review, code health, and project management • Partner with Scene Reconstruction and R&D teams to turn research advances into product image-quality and performance gains • Collaborate with Product and Integrations teams to turn rendering capabilities into valuable customer features • Ensure developer experience through robust APIs, SDKs, samples, and documentation • Steward a codebase spanning C++, shading languages, TypeScript/WebAssembly, Swift, and C#/Unity across web, mobile, desktop, and headset targets

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of leading realtime graphics engineers • Shipped production renderers, engine subsystems, or GPU-heavy products as a lead or manager • Hands-on experience with radiance fields, Gaussian splatting, or neural rendering • Technical depth and sound rendering judgment • Solid C++, shading languages, and rendering pipeline knowledge • Architectural ability to maintain one renderer across platforms and APIs • Experience coaching engineers at different levels, providing direct feedback, and building effective team structures • Excellent written and asynchronous communication • Ability to run a team across nine time zones and translate rendering trade-offs into product decisions • Comfort with autonomy and ownership mindset
