📋 Description

• Provide guidance and direction to Application Development colleagues • Provide expert-level support for development activities • Work directly with colleagues and clients to develop technology solutions meeting business needs • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Development, Sales teams, and internal colleagues • Facilitate development of new features in a cloud-based SaaS environment • Coach development colleagues and assist with code reviews • Support the CI/CD DevOps process and ensure high-quality code reaches the Test environment • Reinforce Solution Architect methodology and consistent development practices • Create and maintain custom integration points between the firm and client development teams • Serve as a technology expert for clients, vendors, claims administrators, carriers, and internal colleagues • Build technology solutions supporting the sales and service of insurance products • Develop and implement solutions for websites according to web design and client requirements • Adapt to new languages, methodologies, and platforms • Review applications, address issues, and maintain, design, and build efficient, reusable, reliable code • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise mitigation solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years equivalent development experience • Experience in utilizing design patterns to build out well organized code product • Experience in performing code reviews and utilizing agile development tools • Experience in using cloud development, in particular Software as a Service • Expert level understanding of UI, cross-browser/mobile compatibility, general web functions and standards • Strong communication and organization skills demonstrated by the ability to lead engagement and problem-solving sessions • Ability to demonstrate the firm’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the corporate culture
