📋 Description

• Lead growth experiments and A/B tests for upsell opportunities, premium paywalls, and promotional offers • Oversee the full lifecycle of Premium subscriptions from acquisition through retention • Analyze subscriber behavior, preferences, and trends to support data-driven decisions • Innovate and enhance Premium support throughout the iOS app • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to solve problems and prioritize challenges in the iOS ecosystem • Build strong relationships with Android, Web, Backend, and Infrastructure teams • Research and implement high-quality technical solutions supporting business goals and a growing user base • Provide technical leadership on design, testing, security, and deployment best practices • Coach team members and increase overall team success • Make rapid decisions balancing speed and stability on high-visibility experimentation projects

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with iOS engineering • Actively contributed to and published iOS applications • Mastery of Objective-C and Swift • Mastery of iOS app-building frameworks, including UIKit and Foundation • Extensive experience writing unit tests and testable code • Extensive experience refactoring architectural patterns • Experience with multithreaded programming • Experience working with a relational database • Experience automating the building and publication of iOS apps • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving • Experience with payments infrastructure or AppStore Connect preferred • Exposure to XP, pair programming, mob programming, or other highly collaborative working styles preferred • Experience with TDD, BDD, or other practices focused on self-verifying code preferred • Experience migrating a large legacy codebase to modern standards preferred • Experience migrating from Objective-C to Swift preferred • Experience contributing to Android, Web, or Backend applications preferred
